Nordex Resistance type FML

Description

The Nordex Resistance FML carbide saw is manufactured with an arrangement of teeth to improve the chip separation process when working with hard steels and alloys.

Scope of application:

  • high-speed steels;
  • stainless and acid-resistant steels (light);
  • stainless and acid-resistant steels (heavy);
  • nickel and chromium-based alloys;
  • titanium alloys;
  • steels with tensile strength > 1000 H/mm2.

Main technical characteristics:

  • The material of the teeth is tungsten carbide (directly fused to the substrate);
  • Combined three-stage sharpening.

Features

  • it has a cutting ability that is more effective in comparison with other saws of this class;
  • it is well suited for large-section workpieces, thanks to the saw layout, the probability of so-called collapse is significantly reduced;
  • designed for cutting difficult-to-process, especially viscous materials, it works well on equipment that has been without maintenance for a long time.
