Description
The CNC Lathe is mainly used for processing all kinds of internal and external pipe threads, including API 5B, metric, inch, modular, DP and conical threads. And it also has all the common functions of a universal CNC lathe, such as processing the inner hole and end face of shafts and discs. Lathes of this series are widely used in industries such as oil production, coal and mineral extraction, chemical pipe production and the geological industry. It is a high-performance equipment for processing and repairing drill pipes, threaded connections, etc.

1.       Composition

 1.1 The headstock  The headstock of the lathe has a symmetrical structure to make the thermal deformation uniform and prevent the center of the spindle from deflecting. The main motor transmits power to the spindle using a speed-controlled mechanism such as a belt, gear and so on. When designing the headstock, some effective measures are taken to improve the accuracy and rigidity of the spindle, for example, grinding the spindle along the inner ring of the bearing, drilling the hole of the headstock along the outer ring, the bearing and the spindle bearing are pre-tightened simultaneously. In addition, all the headstock gears are hardened and ground to ensure accurate transmission and low noise. The spindle of the lathe has the characteristics of low temperature increment, small thermal deformation and high precision after careful assembly, so that the spindle can maintain a relatively stable state of various precision during long-term operation. The headstock bearing uses an accurate spindle bearing. Many heat removal measures are taken to reduce the thermal deformation of the lathe. The headstock uses grease in an oil bath.

1.2 The bed

 The bed is cast from high-strength cast iron (HT300). The rough castings use a resin sand casting with a sand core, which improves the anti-vibration characteristics of the lathe. The bed has a reasonable internal structure and increased rigidity, which makes it possible to ensure the stability of the machine during the processing of large-diameter workpieces. The guide is processed by an intermediate frequency quenching device and ground on a grinding machine. The depth of the hardened layer is 2-3 mm, hardness up to 52 HRC.

1.3 Patron

 The lathe uses a 3-cam hollow chuck F500 mm. Other manual 4-cam and 3-cam cartridges are available to choose from.

1.4 Revolver head

 The standard configuration is a revolver head with 8 stations for the tool. A 6-position vertical revolver, a 6-position horizontal revolver, an 8-position horizontal revolver and a 12-position horizontal revolver are available to choose from.

1.5    Supply

The soft TSF strip is laid on a pair of sliding guides along the Z axis, which significantly reduces the coefficient of friction and improves the response characteristics of the servo. A pair of precision grinding ball screw gears are used along the X and Z axes to ensure high machining accuracy, positioning accuracy and maintaining accuracy. The moving pairs are automatically lubricated by a centralized lubrication system. The dynamic accuracy of the lathe is checked and compensated by the RENISHAW laser interference device, so the lathe has high positioning accuracy and repeat positioning accuracy.

1.6 Tailstock

The tailstock has a solid construction, it can withstand heavy loads; The tailstock feather is hardened and precision ground; A hydraulic tailstock is optional.

1.7 Lubrication system

Centralized automatic forced lubrication. The lubricating oil for the headstock and gearbox bearings is the oil flowing out of the safety valve. All pairs of ball screw pairs and sliding guide surfaces are lubricated using a centralized automatic lubrication device with a thin oil system.

1.8 Cooling system

The coolant device uses a multi-layer filter to completely clean the coolant and reduce the likelihood of blocking the coolant circuit. The coolant tank is separated from the main machine, which reduces the effect of heat during cutting on the precision of the lathe.

1.9 General

To meet the requirements of network systems used in different countries and regions, the lathe can be adapted to different voltages and frequencies: Voltage: 220V, 380V, 420V, 440V, 660V. Frequency: 50 Hz and 60 Hz. All electrical components used in the lathe are made from products of well-known domestic and foreign brands, which ensures high reliability, stability and long service life of the entire machine. The control panel has a moderate height, is ergonomic and pleasant to the touch, which allows the operator to easily control and understand the operation of the machine.

3.1 The CNC system

The CNC system uses the well-known SINUMERIK808D (other systems can be optional according to customer requirements). The SINUMERIK 808D is a CNC panel system for basic performance. This compact and convenient entry-level solution is used for basic turning operations. Characteristics such as ease of operation, ease of commissioning and maintenance, as well as an optimal price-quality ratio, provide an ideal basis for equipping entry-level CNC machines. The SINUMERIK 808D CNC system is pre-configured to meet the requirements of modern standard lathes. Intelligent CNC functions such as rigid threading with full servo drive or smooth switching between spindle and C axis ensure the most accurate and fastest turning. 3.10 Security

The lathe has an alarm device and an emergency stop button, which can be used to prevent various sudden failures that lead to damage to the lathe. Thanks to a well-thought-out program, the text and alarm numbers are displayed on the screen and indicated by light indicators on the control panel. Alarms are divided into 3 types: emergency stop for an urgent alarm, save feed for a normal alarm, and information prompts for an operation error. The X and Z axis lead screw has an airtight protection that guarantees its cleanliness to ensure the accuracy of transmission and movement of the machine.
