At the same time, the purchased equipment must be universal, that is, it must be possible to use it in any machine tools in the enterprise.
However, some manufacturers produce tooling that can only be used on their manufactured equipment.
Due to the purchase of universal tooling, the available possibilities for its use within a specific production are significantly expanded.

Manufacturers achieve versatility due to the fact that they unify the connecting fittings, as well as use special standard fasteners.
