For example, for cutting titanium, heat-resistant and stainless alloys, it is rational to use carbide band saws to increase productivity and durability (according to statistics – 3-5 times).
- The shape and material of the blanks, the structure and quality of the raw materials.
For example, the presence of sand, scale, and heterogeneous solid inclusions in the blanks significantly reduces the durability of the ribbon web.
It is important to ensure that the material is securely fixed in the clamping mechanism, since turning the machine under treatment is fraught with premature deformation of the saw.
- The technical condition of the belt equipment.
The correct selection of the width of the tape can significantly increase and improve durability, cutting ability and productivity.
At the same time, large-scale enterprises with a serious volume of products use machines with a rigid two-column structure.
Simplified double-column machines are suitable for smaller production formats.
- The correct operation of the belt equipment.
It is necessary to check whether the pulleys are in the same plane or not.
In accordance with the passport data, it is necessary to correctly set the gap that should be between the guide plates and the tape.
The saw frame must be well fixed to the frame so that it can smoothly pass through the machine.
It is necessary to correctly position the guide rollers towards the movement of the saw and adjust them in a vertical plane.
Their correct position will give additional stability when sawing.
- The correctness of the running-in of the new canvas.
Each time you install a new tape, you need to cut it at reduced machine modes to run it in.
This way the tape will last longer.
- The correct selection of the lubricating fluid in terms of quality and concentration and timely replacement 1-2 times a year.
The flow of liquid should be plentiful and supplied through three channels.
Flushing of the water supply system is also mandatory.
